COLOGNOLA

Colognola is a thriving village in the heart of the Garfagnana, 1 hour from Lucca, 1 hour 45 from Pisa and 1 hour from the Versilia coast.​
The heart of the village is just a 5-minute walk from Carina in Toscana and has a busy and buzzing bar, supermarket, grocer, pasticceria, hairdresser, mechanic, launderette, car wash and tabaccheria.
The village is lively, friendly and very welcoming.

PIAZZA AL SERCHIO

Just 5 minutes by car or a 20-minute walk and you are in Piazza al Serchio, where you will find banks, shops, restaurants and the local town hall.
The train station has free parking and is on the Pisa/Lucca/Aulla line.
There is a market held every Tuesday morning.

THE GARFAGNANA
There is so much more to Tuscany than the rolling hills and vineyards of Southern Tuscany.
Here in the Garfagnana and neighbouring Lunigiana you will find the stunning scenery of the Apuan Alps and the beauty of the grottos and passes of the Carrara mountains.
There are ample bars and restaurants to explore as you visit local towns and villages. From aperitivi, pizze and full meals there is always something to whet your appetite.
